Our family is expecting a new little princess! While gathered together to give thanks for our many blessings, our family showered the mom-to-be with lots of love and well wishes as she prepares to enter her "nesting stage".
Mom shared that as she's prepping baby's room for her arrival, she's been drawn to various hues of pink, silver and gray. Building upon those colors, we thought a princess themed shower would be perfect!
Florals, silks, shimmer and lace all culminated to make the perfect design elements!
Once the invitations were designed and printed and the envelopes addressed with coordinating digital calligraphy, we wanted those same elements from the invitation to resonate throughout the shower without being too overwhelming.
This custom made backdrop can also be re-purposed after the baby shower as curtains for the princess' room!
Game time was especially funny; in addition to the games below, we also played the purse game. You'd be surprised at some of the items women carry in their purses 🤣🤭!!
Treats for our dessert table were provided by Creative Bites by Candace, Campbell's Bakery and MadeWhit Love.
Planning for any event is certainly no easy task but planning for the arrival of a princess surely made the job much more fun! By no means do I profess to be an event planner or designer like our friends over at Elle Mari Events or Kellye Christian Floral + Event and Design and this weekend helps me appreciate them even more!
